The public onsen was a highlight, with relaxing baths and a beautiful natural setting that felt remote and intimate. The garden view from the dining area throughout meals created a serene atmosphere, enhancing the dining experience.
The breakfast experience varied widely. while the Japanese-style options were delightful, the Western choices included unexpected pairings like soup and salad that might not appeal to everyone. Additionally, I had an unfortunate experience of being seated alone in a private room at breakfast, staring at a wall when there were plenty of other tables available, which felt isolating.

After 3 nights in a Japanese-style room, I truly enjoyed the exceptional kaiseki meals, which were a remarkable blend of seasonal flavors, and the welcoming onsen experience amidst stunning surroundings. However, the room felt a bit more worn than the photos suggested. I would definitely choose this place again for the unique experience.
